Opening Times

Please be aware that the Practice is open from 8.00am-6.30pm however the reception shutters will not be open until 8.15am - patients are requested to use the self log-in screens when arriving for appointments before this time

Opening Hours are Monday - Friday 11.00am to 1.00pm.

When We Are Closed

out_of_hours The Out of Hours Service will take over from 6.30pm to 8.00am .

Although the Surgery is closed medical help is always available by accessing the following:

Your local pharmacy for general advice during their opening hours

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the Practice re-opens.

Call 999 in an emergency.

Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

Oaklands Surgery and many others in the Castle Point and Rochford area will be closed from 1pm for the whole afternoon and evening the first Tuesday each and every month except in January, May and August.

Disabled Patients

The Practice operates an inclusive policy regarding disabled patients and their carers.
The Practice provides:
Access to a low-level reception desk containing an integral induction loop
A portable induction loop is available for consultations
An enlarged printed version of the patient leaflet is available to those patients who require it
A ramp for wheelchair entry to premises
A lift available to all patients
Designated disabled parking - (press button at barrier for entry assistance)
Written/computer facilities for speech impaired patients
Long appointment slots if required
Appointments involving several clinicians if required, please contact reception for details
